Transcription: Drooping rays on orange-yellow flower heads located at the tops of nearly leafless stalks describe this member of the sunflower family. Orange sneeze weed blooms from July to September. It grows in wet areas of mountain meadows and woods and is found from southern Oregon and northern California east to New Mexico and Colorado. Orange sneeze weed is very common in overgrazed meadows and is known to cause at least one disease in sheep. Preparations of the root have been used as medicine for various ailments in humans. you
